“I have always been shown that our brains are really like dunce caps that keep us from remembering who we truly are on a soul level; they block us from seeing all the energy and cords of connection that are there.”

This is what we’re told about the brain’s grey matter, otherwise known as the cerbral cortex.
The cerebral cortex is your brains wrinkly grey matter that sits snuggly inside the skull, and is responsible for your higher functions, like thought, language, memory, emotion, reasoning, problem-solving, functions related to your senses and consciousness.
It is the centre for rational analysis and control, processing both sensory and motor information.
The thalamus is the brains central hub or secretary, relaying information to the cerebral cortex. It relays and processes information from all your senses…EXCEPT SMELL.
This sensory information, which is symptomatic of your external environment, is shuttled by your nervous system into the brain for processing.
However, your nervous system is a system of fear…it’s very nervous.
So, any time the nervous system is activated, the external environment has triggered fear!
Effectively, the nervous system presents the script of fearful sensory symptoms to the brain, which acts like a chemist by filling that script and sending the appropriate chemical soldiers into your cells, in order to fight the perceived threat.
The symptoms are relieved.
The fear is sedated.
Throughout childhood, you build up a store of these scripts in the memory banks of your limbic system, creating an historic record of your past stories, which reflects the inherited dis-ease of your external family circumstances.
Inherited patterns of family dis-ease are the fearful symptoms that have been numbed by your brain.
Henceforth, whenever an external situation or person resembles one of these stored family symptoms of dis-ease, your brain finds the matching script, which triggers the appropriate cellular chemical reaction, in an attempt to protect you. This is why your limbic system is known as your defence system.
It thinks that it’s helping you and keeping you safe. But unfortunately, it’s keeping you from the truth.
Through all this processing, the brain is simply treating the symptoms (stored memory), not addressing the cause (the original family dysfunction). The treating of symptoms brings temporary relief.
The brain offers only palliative care to a body that is slowly dying…a mortal body.
What is actually slowly dying is the spirit within the body…your true essence.
The beautiful, pure, loving and joyful spirit of the infant, slowly retreats into hiding behind the chemical walls of protection within their cells as they build their limbic memory banks throughout childhood.
With each new fearful experience, the true spirit is progressively masked, and the chemical reactions deteriorate your cells in a physical display of aging. Time settles into your cells as your flagging spirits witness the march into mortality.
The palliative nature of the brain is evident even in the name cerebral cortex, or cerebral pallium, meaning cloaked, covered or concealed.
Your brain hides the truth.
