“Have courage and be kind”
These are the beautiful sentiments of the exquisite Cinderella, the latest Disney movie, which I’ve just delighted in seeing. I simply adore fairytales as you know!
And I’m going to share another fairytale secret with you today.
This little secret is about the Divine Feminine, which we’re told is ascending within us now. I’m sure you know that the feminine energies are those of unconditional love that come from the heart in the form of kindness. But did you know that the word courage also derives from the Latin word cor meaning heart?
Upon the death of her real mother and father, poor Cinderella lived with an ugly step mother and her two ugly daughters.
She was relegated to an old, dark attic and made to wait on them hand and foot.
She was in servitude to her ugly step family.
You might be surprised to find that we all have one of these! Yes, indeed.
So what is the real meaning of the ugly step family, and how does it relate to you?
Let’s take a peek inside the ugly family and see what we can find.
Oh the rapturous bliss of True Love’s First Kiss!
Can you feel its dreamy essence as it carries you through your day on the wings of love?
But how is this so, if Prince Charming isn’t actually standing in front of you?
Into The Woods!
Fairytales are everywhere these days!
Why? Because they’re magic…and they touch our hearts.
And…they also hold many secrets that they want us to know.
Which I’ll be revealing in this blog. So stay tuned as I…
Open the True Heart of Fairytales!
Children’s books have a magnetic attraction I find hard to resist. As I picked up my latest little treasure and thumbed through its pages, it stole my heart. Reality lost its appeal as I was transported into a world that delights me beyond measure…the world of make believe, the lost world of childhood imaginings. Such a feast for the heart of the child that lives within me. She knew we were going on a colourful journey of endless possibility.
“The Quilt Makers Gift” is so rich in glorious illustration with a simple but beautiful storyline. However, the message that is secretly woven into its fabric holds a far greater magical allure, as is always the case with children’s stories. For it’s the child within us that knows the truth, and is indeed our guiding light. Children don’t hear a moral or lesson within these children’s stories, they simply connect with the inherent truth that already lights their inner spirit. They already shine this light of truth. And oh how they delight in the opportunity to playfully connect with the inner child spirit of the adult storyteller, a connection of light that is unfortunately reserved for storytime. And our own inner child spirit simply leaps with joy at this invitation to slip from beneath the cover of adulthood and play.
What’s Cinderella’s Secret?
I love the story of Cinderella. In fact I love all fairytales. They touch the heart of the child that lay within all of us. But all fairytales protect secrets that were carefully woven into their fabric so they could travel safely through evolution until the time was right for their grand revelation. That time is now. Have you ever wondered why there are so many adult fairytale-themed movies and television series appearing on our screens? They are finally revealing their secrets!!! So let’s see what’s at the heart of Cinderella.
Cinderella…what a beautiful name. But this name hides a BIG SECRET!
